Timber Construction Fair Brno
Timber Construction Fair Brno will take place in February 2022
In view of
the current situation and the persisting uncertainty in
the development of the pandemic in the first half of this year, the
management of BVV Trade Fairs Brno has been forced to cancel this
year's Building Fair
Brno, the DSB Timber Construction Fair Brno and the Furniture and Interior Design Fair MOBITEX. The next edition of these trade
fairs that offer an overview of the construction industry and housing,
inspiration and meetings with experts, will take place on 23-26. February 2022.
"Without the prospect of easing restrictions on mass events by the end of April, it is not possible to prepare and organize the trade fair in the current uncertain circumstances. Unfortunately, the PES matrix (the Czech pandemic score system) classifies trade fairs into the category of incomparable subjects such as zoos, museums and galleries. The importance of a fair, the essential role of trade fairs for wholesalers and the need for exchange of information remains misunderstood, even though we have proposed relatively strict safety measures for our trade fairs”, comments Jiří Kuliš, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno.
"It is impossible to organize the Building Fair Brno in April. We have stopped preparations with regard to reducing the risk of failed investments on the part of exhibitors and us as the organizer", said Martin Videczký, project director.
Professional associations, partners and exhibitors consider the group of construction fairs for an important presentation platform and support its holding. "These trade fairs are always an ideal opportunity for direct contact not only with business partners, but also with consumers. We perceive BVV as an experienced and respected partner, with whom we are very happy to cooperate. I wish the organizers of the Construction Fairs Brno many good partners in organizing the next year´s run of the event, and that the year 2022 be a happy number for everyone", said Bohuslav Hamrozi, President of the Guild of Heating and Plumbers of the Czech Republic. "Unfortunately, we now have to adapt to the situation regarding the meeting. However, we believe that in 2022 we will once again welcome people interested in wooden buildings at our stands as part of the Dřevo a stavby Brno trade fair”, added Lenka Trandová, Director of ADMD.
BVV Trade Fairs Brno is intensively striving for an agreement on the form and conditions for the safe holding of trade fairs.
