Brief characteristics of the exhibit
MoLiS - is a mobile signal system for runways, the basic part of which is a lighting system designed primarily for so-called non-instrument runways in civil aviation. The lighting system designed in this way can be applied primarily to smaller airports, which are not normally equipped with these systems. This device is also usable in situations where it is necessary to put the track into operation in non-standard conditions without sufficient infrastructure necessary for the installation of stationary lighting systems, or as a backup system. For example, the set was used during the Covid-19 pandemic to illuminate a temporary heliport at Cheb Airport, for the needs of transporting patients from the Karlovy Vary region. The project enabled the development of innovative light sources based on LED, with lower energy and operational requirements for the proposed lighting system - meeting the legislative requirements of civil aviation.
