ANIMAL TECH, National Livestock Show and National Hunting Show were record breaking
The ANIMAL TECH International Fair for Animal Production, the National Show of Livestock and the National Gamekeeping Show took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 22 to 26 April 2023. The exhibition centre hosted 236 exhibitors from 8 countries. Almost 50,000 people passed through the gates of the exhibition centre.
Confirmed: Czechs are best at deer calling!
The Czechs dominated the 24th European Deer Calling Championship, taking the first two places and winning the team competition. The Brno Exhibition Centre hosted this event for the first time. Jan Brtník became the European Champion for the seventh time already.
Launching of the National Gamekeeping Exhibition marked by the centenary history of the Hunting Association
Precisely on the day of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the predecessor of the Czech-Moravian Hunting Association, the National Gamekeeping Show was opened at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

Czech-Moravian Hunting Union celebrating 100 years
Exactly 100 years ago, on 22 April, a hunting union was established in Brno, at that time under the name Czechoslovakian Hunting Union. More than 140 major trophies from 1923 onwards, and thirty-five of historically strongest trophies from Slovakia will be on display at the exhibition. These are unique trophies that will probably not be seen soon anywhere else. On Saturday, a gala evening and a hunters' ball will be held, and the European Deer Calling Championship will also take place.
This year's National Gamekeeping Show will be outstanding
This year's end of April can be described without exaggeration as a hunting holiday at the Brno Exhibition Centre. The National Gamekeeping Show will be held there from 22 to 26 April, concurrently with the ANIMAL TECH fair and the National Show of Livestock. Almost 200 companies will be presenting themselves at the three events. The National Gamekeeping Show is located in Hall G1 and in outdoor area G, where you will find nearly 80 companies. Some of extra programmes will take place in Hall G2 and in the outdoor area near Hall Z.
Interesting bits from the National Gamekeeping Show
On the occasion of the centenary of the Czech-Moravian Hunting Union, an exhibition of unique trophies will be installed in Hall G1.
