News in the breeders' program

National championships and competition shows of cattle, breeding shows of horses, sheep, goats and pigs are always the basis of National Show of Livestock's extra programme. However, there is a major new feature in 2023 – an auction of breeding heifers and embryos, which will take place on Wednesday 26 April.

The National Show of Livestock 2023 will host the National Championship of Czech Spotted Cattle on Tuesday 25 April; this event will take place in Brno for the first time ever. The judge will be Jože Smolinger from Slovenia. After the National Championships we will also hold a regular membership meeting of the Association directly at the exhibition grounds.

The small demonstration site in Hall P, which is traditionally dedicated to sheep, goats and pigs, will this year host demonstrations of meat processing, sheep shearing and wool preparation for processing, a wool fashion show or cheese making demonstrations.
