International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites, is held at the Brno Exhibition Centre after two years. In the Czech Republic the plastics and rubber industry is very well established and plastics manufacturers’ key customers include the automotive, electronics and packaging industries. Interest in manufacturing machinery and equipment, often tailor-made for the chosen technology or specific contract, is quite high and it is this customer target group that the International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites PLASTEX addresses, as the industry’s number one fair in the country. Its last year in 2012, was attended by 258 companies from 19 countries and almost half of the exhibitors presented specifically machines and equipment for plastics and rubbers.
