Brief characteristics of the exhibit

With AXMAT, the revolutionary, radar-controlled online measurement, adjustment and regulation system for fertilizer spreading of AXIS two-disc spreaders, the specialist in fertilizing technology RAUCH presents the first fertilizer spreader worldwide that features fully-automatic adjustment of spreading for the required working width. At the same time, the application rate is precisely controlled during operation. The online monitoring system detects changes in the physical fertilizer properties and compensates the influences on spreading and metering. The spreading pattern no longer needs to be controlled by a practical test set or manual calibration. The innovative, maintenance-free radar technology on an electrically driven 180° swiveling arm under the rotating spreader vane permanently and fully-automatically records the expansion of the spread fan. The smart AXMAT radar technology is not affected by dust, dirt or weather conditions.

Specification of advantages compared to the competitors

System Axmat practically can be compared to only two systems. The first is the Argus system manufactured by Amazone, which likewise seeks to scan trajectory granules using a camera with two lighting units. This system, however, due to the design, location and orientation of the camera captures only a tiny notch departing flow of fertilizers and therefore can´t achieve the accuracy and objective result. In addition, this system lacks an automatic link to the adjustment of the working width based on the results and evaluation of scanning. The second system Justax produced by company SULKY, measures pulses of fertilizer pellets hitting the pipe adapter positioned in the flow of departing fertilizer. These pipes must be setup individually for every kind of fertilizer and working width, when the tests are finished than the pipes must be folded out again from the flow path of the fertilizer. System is able to only evaluate the different amounts of fertilizer thrown away from the spreader closer and farther, system ignores the physical properties of fertilizers, which are very important to spreading pattern. The system does not work continuously during labor of spreader and is virtually the only form of test prior to spreading. So far no other manufacturer of agricultural equipment does not deal with the system of inspection of working shots and their subsequent correction.
