15th IDET was the largest ever

The IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair ranks among the most important shows held in NATO countries. At the same time, it is unique for its connection, concurrently with PYROS and ISET fairs, to a comprehensive presentation of the Integrated Rescue System. This year's security fairs presented exhibits of a total of 534 companies from 35 countries and documented the growing strength of the Czech defence industry. Over the first three days 26 thousand visitors passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre; on Saturday, there was an event for the general public called Safety Day - Rescuers for Children, which welcomed about 10000 visitors.

IDET boasts large international presence

The IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair confirms its importance also with the large presence of foreign exhibitors.

IDET ARENA: The Brno Metropolitan Police

Brno Municipal Police was established as an independent body of a Statutory City of Brno in 1992. It is the institution whose goal is improving safety and security within the community and performing other related tasks in compliance with Act No. 553/1991, coll. of Local police.

IDET ARENA: SWOT Team of the South Moravian Region Police Directorate

The SWOT team was set up on 1st of January 2010 with the range of action in the territory of the South Moravian Region, Region Vysočina as well as region of Zlín. Tasks of the SWOT team are unique and include mainly protection or restoration of security at public places. For combating the organised crime, it is mainly deployed for the purpose of perpetrators’ apprehension.

Display of the Ministry of Defence and the Army of the Czech Republic

An integral part of this year's IDET 2019 International Defence and Security Technologies Fair will be traditionally also the display of the Ministry of Defence and the Army of the Czech Republic. This time he will have two main motifs based on this year's round jubilees. A part of the display will focus on the 20th anniversary of the Czech Republic's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance, another part will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the General Staff of the Czech Army.

Security fairs will feature prestigious exhibitors and top exhibits

Spending on defence worldwide is growing and the development of defence and security technologies is accelerating. All this is positively reflected in the 15th IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair, which is to take place at the Brno Display Centre from 29 to 31 May 2019. Concurrently with it, the 19th PYROS International Fire Fighting Equipment and Services Fair and the 10th ISET International Security Technology and Services Fair will be held.

Concurrently with PYROS, ISET and an attractive supporting programme

IDET is part of a shamrock of security fairs, including the PYROS International Fire Fighting Equipment and Services Fair and the ISET International Security Technology and Services Fair. These two fairs will remain open also on Saturday 1 June, when the Exhibition Centre will open its gates to general public and families with children. An attractive supporting programme with dynamic demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and intervention actions of all three components of the Integrated Rescue System will take place on the off-road polygon and in the outdoor exhibition area.

Czech companies in full armour

Czech armament manufacturers have been successful in foreign markets in recent years, and the value of their exports has regularly exceeded 15 billion crowns per year since 2015. Their strong position will be reaffirmed also by this year's IDET, which will not be missed by virtually any of important members of the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic.

Prestigious exhibitors and top exhibits

Of course, all key bidders for the largest contract in the history of the Czech Army worth 53 billion crowns will be presented at the fair. The supplier of 210 infantry combat vehicles is likely to be selected among four companies: British BAE Systems (CV-90), Spanish General Dynamics European Land Systems (Ascod) and two German companies – PSM (Puma) and Rheinmetall Landsysteme (Lynx).

Defence spending is on the rise worldwide, the development of defence and security technologies is accelerating and the long-awaited tender for infantry combat vehicles for the Czech army will culminate this year. All this will be positively reflected at the IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair, which will be held at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 29 to 31 May 2019.

The Czech Republic will again be presented under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic at the IDEX 2019 International Defence Exhibition. The exhibition will be held from 17 to 21 February 2019 in Abu Dhabi.

IDET, PYROS and ISET 2019: Security Fairs Will Open New Opportunities for Business

Security has become a clear priority these days. At this time of increased risks deriving from new outbreaks of war, terrorist attacks as well as other threats, governments do not hesitate to invest in defense and security technologies. Along with that is growing the importance of the defense industry, which has traditionally a strong position in the Czech Republic. Companies present their new products aimed for security forces at trade fairs, to which the Brno‘s IDET has belonged since 1993. Next year on the verge of May and June, its fifteenth edition will be held, once again in partnership with the PYROS and ISET fairs, which present fire and safety equipment and services. There is considerable interest in participation already long time before, because both the Ministry of Defense and the Czech Police and Fire Rescue Brigade of the Czech Republic increase their budgets for medium-term purchasing plans.

Gelungene Verteidigungsmesse IDET

Der Messerverbund IDET – PYROS – ISET ist mit seiner geschäftlichen, politischen und internationalen Bedeutung die nach der MSV zweitwichtigste Veranstaltung dieses Jahres. An der Eröffnung am Mittwoch, dem 31. Mai nahmen der Präsident der Tschechischen Republik Miloš Zeman, der Verteidigungsminister Martin Stropnický, die Befehlshaber der Generalstäbe der Tschechischen und der Slowakischen Republik, Vertreter der Führung des Polizeipräsidiums der Tschechischen Republik und des Generaldirektorats des Feuerwehrretungskorps, ausländischer Verteidigungsministerien und diverser Botschaften teil. Aufgrund einer gemeinsamen Einladung des Verteidigungsministeriums der Tschechischen Republik und der Messe Brünn nahmen an der Messe 15 ausländische Delegationen aus Brasilien, Ägypten, den Philippinen, Frankreich, Kasachstan, Mazedonien, Norwegen, Schweden, Ruanda und den Nachbarländern teil.

Tschechisch-österreichisches Forum der Rüstungs- und Sicherheitsindustrie

Heute fand auf dem Brünner Messegelände das Tschechisch-österreichische Forum der Rüstungs- und Sicherheitsindustrie statt, veranstaltet von der Botschaft der Tschechischen Republik in Wien in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern – dem Verteidigungsministerium der Tschechischen Republik, der Messe Brünn, der Österreichischen Wirtschaftskammer und der Vereinigung der Verteidigungs- und Sicherheitsindustrie der Tschechischen Republik. „Am Forum nehmen 20 Firmen aus der Tschechischen Republik und 11 österreichische Firmen teil, es wurden 60 Teilnehmer und 14 B2B-Geschäftsgespräche registriert“, sagte heute einleitend Martina Tauberová, Handelsrätin und Leiterin der Handels- und Wirtschaftsabteilung der Botschaft der Tschechischen Republik in Wien.

Tschechisch-türkisches Forum zum Ausbau von Kooperationen der Verteidigungsindustrien

Im Rahmen der Verteidigungsmesse IDET fand in Halle P das Tschechisch-türkische Industrieforum statt. Die Türkei ist das Partnerland der diesjährigen Internationalen Fachmesse für Abwehr- und Sicherheitstechnik und zugleich der größte ausländische Aussteller. Beim Forum wurde vor allem über die Stärkung der Beziehungen zwischen tschechischen und türkischen Firmen in der Verteidigungsindustrie gesprochen. Am Forum nahmen zahlreiche Vertreter von tschechischen und türkischen Firmen sowie bedeutende Persönlichkeiten teil, unter anderem der stellvertretende Verteidigungsminister der Türkei Suay Alpay, der stellvertretende Leiter der Sektion Internationale Zusammenarbeit des Bereichs Leitung von Organisationen des Verteidigungsministeriums der Tschechischen Republik Tomáš Kuchta und der Präsident und geschäftsführende Direktor der Vereinigung der Verteidigungs- und Sicherheitsindustrie der Tschechischen Republik Jiří Hynek.

Ausgaben für Verteidigung sind zu erhöhen und tschechische Rüstungsfirmen zu fördern, stimmten die Gäste der offiziellen Eröffnung der 14. internationalen Messe IDET überein.

Brünner Messegelände öffnet sich für die Sicherheitsmessen IDET, PYROS und ISET

Am Mittwoch, dem 31. Mai öffnen sich in Brünn die Tore der Sicherheitsmessen – der 14. internationalen Fachmesse für Abwehr- und Sicherheitstechnik IDET, der 18. internationalen Fachmesse für Brandschutztechnik PYROS und der 9. internationalen Fachmesse für Sicherheitstechnik ISET, die zusammen eine Prestigeschau der Verteidigungs-, Brandschutz- und Sicherheitstechnologien in Mittel- und Osteuropa bilden.

Tschechien investiert in Sicherheit: Auf den Messen IDET, PYROS und ISET 2017 wird eingekauft

Tschechien will Milliarden für die Sicherheit bereitstellen. Die Armee, Polizei, Feuerwehr und der Zoll planen Ausbau, Erneuerung und Modernisierung ihrer Ausrüstung. Gleiches gilt für die Regierungen anderer Länder – eine willkommene Nachricht für die exportorientierte tschechische Verteidigungs- und Sicherheitsindustrie. Die diesjährige Sicherheitsmesse in Brünn bietet eine umfangreiche Übersicht über das Branchenangebot der letzten Jahre.

Armee beschleunigt die Modernisierung

Als Reaktion auf die globale Sicherheitslage kündigte das Verteidigungsministerium der Tschechischen Republik viele Rüstungsprojekte an, die in den Jahren 2017 bis 2030 umgesetzt werden sollen.
