Food fairs will focus on technology and food presentation
Food fairs are starting at the Brno Exhibition Centre on 27 February. They will last until 2 March and you can look forward to a comprehensive overview of food production and related industries. The SALIMA International Food Fair will be traditionally complemented by VINEX, the MBK International Milling Industry, Bakery and Confectionery Fair, and the INTECO International Fair of Equipment for Retail Trade, Hotels and Catering Facilities. Concurrently will run the EmbaxPrint International Fair for Packaging and Printing, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. This year's novelty will be SALIMA Technology, which addresses professionals interested in technologies, automation and robotics. A new Festival of Tastes has been launched for the general public and namely for all lovers of good food and drink; it will be held from 1 to 3 March.
The new concept will focus more on technologies
The SALIMA Technology fair, to be located in Hall V, offers a comprehensive view of food processing technologies. The purpose of its virtual separation from the traditional SALIMA lies primarily in a more detailed segmentation of visitors. Hall V will then be designated especially for those interested in machines and technological innovations and trends. Companies such as Asseco Solutions, AWH, Bohemilk, CEIA, Delikomat, ELIN, Ishida, Keiblinger, KONEKO marketing, PANINI, Stäubli Systems and VAC-STAR will be presented.
SALIMA to feature food presentation
Obviously, the traditional SALIMA will not be missing, focusing now on the presentation of food. You can find it in Halls A1 and A2, alongside with the VINEX trade fair. Traditionally, suppliers of meat, food ingredients, tea, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and confectioners will be introduced. Of course, you will have the opportunity to taste and buy selected goods. The importance and quality of the trade fair is underlined by its cooperation with professional patrons such as the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic, the State Agricultural Intervention Fund or the Czech Chamber of Food Producers. There will also be an attractive sideline program featuring popular chefs. Gastronomic competitions will be held as well.
