Hungary has long been known as a food pantry of Europe. Meat from traditional but very modern breeding has excellent taste, and just like Hungarian salami and sausage specialities is popular not only in Europe but also worldwide.
The popularity of microbreweries rises
There are more than 300 of them in the Czech Republic and the number is rising. Demand for quality craft beer has also led to the creation of the MICROBREWERY FESTIVAL at SALIMA, which will present 35 microbreweries with more than 100 different beers.
Production of the best food, live!
For four days, the Czech company FRIGOMAT will put on a culinary performance for visitors of INTECO at their exhibition stand in Hall "V". Three confectionery masters will alternate in a special studio for four days, revealing the production of soft serve and cone ice cream and presenting examples of ornamentation and decoration of this frosty delight.
Taste South Moravian regional specialities and the fruitiest ice cream in Bohemia!
At stand no. 069, visitors can taste the fruitiest ice cream in the country. The company David Polanský will present quality and most delicious ice cream mixtures intended for the production of soft ice cream at INTECO.

Eine weitere Jubiläumsauflage unserer Nahrungsmittelmessen, die bereits dreißigste SALIMA 2016 rückt immer näher. In rund einem Monat öffnen sich die Messetore, um Fachleute, Händler und fachkundiges Publikum zu den internationalen Nahrungsmittelmessen SALIMA/VINEX, MBK und INTECO willkommen zu heißen, die vom 17. bis 20. Februar 2016 auf dem Brünner Messegelände stattfinden. Parallel zu diesen Messen findet auch die internationale Fachmesse für Verpackungen und Druck EmbaxPrint statt.

Adjusting the date of the food fairs
Dear exhibitors, due to organizational and technical reasons, the Brno Exhibition Centre decided to adjust the date of the SALIMA - MBK - INTECO international food fairs.
30th anniversary Salima 2016 believes in a record year!
There are many small local food and beverage exhibitions in the Czech Republic, but there is only one International Food Fair with a long tradition. The jubilee 30th edition of the Salima show will be held at the exhibition centre in Brno on 17 to 20 February 2016.
