Caravaning Brno 2020 will not take place this year

The traditional Caravaning Brno exhibition, which was supposed to open at the Brno Exhibition Grounds on 5 November, will not take place. It was decided on the basis of a careful consideration of all the risks associated with the development of the covid-19 pandemic and the declaration of a state of emergency. Current government measures do not allow the organization of mass events, including exhibitions and fairs, the holding of which is prohibited.

"There was a lot of interest from exhibitors this year. It promised a very broad parade of motorhomes, caravans and extensions from tens of leading manufacturers. Accessories and gear for camping were also very well represented. Until the last moment, we tried to do everything so that the exhibition could take place. However, the development in the past few days has shown that it is not possible to organize an event of such a scale in the current circumstances and uncertainty," said Jan Kuběna, Commercial Director of Trade Fairs Brno.

Caravaning Brno is one of the most important events of its kind not only in the Czech Republic but also in Central Europe. Every year it brings a complete show of motorhomes, caravans and accessories. Its supporting programme is prepared in cooperation with main sectoral associations. The next year's event will welcome all fans of caravanning and camping from 4 to 7 November 2021.
