The fairs SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA will be shortened by one day. The TECHAGRO fair shifted to April 2024

BVV Trade Fairs Brno have decided to shorten the SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA trade fairs. This decision has been made after thorough negotiations with professional partner associations and was based on a survey among exhibitors and visitors.

Due to the situation caused by the covid-19 pandemic and the absence of the latest exhibit novelties, the biennial TECHAGRO has been moved to 2024.

The reason for postponing the TECHAGRO trade fair is the absence of new exhibits caused by production restrictions and slowdown in deliveries. "Due to the endless pandemic situation and the unavailability of innovative exhibits, most member companies of the Association of Importers of Agricultural Machinery have repeatedly announced their non-participation in this year's edition of the fair. It is a pity, because according to a survey conducted in January 2022 among visitors, their interest in TECHAGRO and related fairs is really big. 97.7 % of visitors would have liked to visit the fair this year," said Tomáš Moravec, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno.

The Silva Regina and Biomasa fairs will take place in a shortened format from April 3 - 6, 2022 and will include the topics of beekeeping, fisheries and cynology.

With SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA the situation is different. "Exhibitors have interest the same interest in participating as in 2018 which was the strongest in history of these shows. Therefore, we decided to keep this event in our calendar. We took a slightly different approach and put together the topics of forestry, hunting, fishing, beekeeping and cynology, previously appreciated by the visitors in other domestic and European exhibitions," added Tomáš Moravec.

For SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA the original dates are suitable, although the shows will be one day shorter than originally planned. "The event will focus on the above-mentioned fields. TECHAGRO exhibitors will also be given space to take part, as long as their product range fits the show," outlined Jan Kuběna, Sales Director of BVV Trade Fairs Brno.

TECHAGRO comes back in full force in April 2024

Despite the continuing difficult situation, agricultural and forestry fairs have great potential and a firm place in the trade fair calendar in the future. "We believe that we will be able to organize the fair on a date that will not limit exhibitors or visitors and allow it to be held on a standard scale," said Tomáš Moravec.
