Mineralogical riches of Jeseníky
Our thanks for cooperating on the supporting programme
go to our long-term exhibitor and partner of the MINERALS BRNO exhibition, Mr. Luděk
Kráčmar, who greatly contributes to the preparation, lends exhibits from his
collection to the exhibition and who is also the author of the exhibition texts.
We also wish to thank the Regional Museum in Olomouc, Mr. Lukáš Křesina, Mr. Martin
Svoboda, the company e-gems.eu and Mr. Jan Hovorka who lent exhibit from their
collections to this exhibition. Thus, the visitors could admire the variability
and richness of the minerals in the region of Jeseníky including rare examples
and specimens of rare minerals.
Contemporary jewel stones
The exhibition dedicated to Jeseníky was complemented
by the exhibition on Contemporary jewel stones which was prepared by our
long-term exhibitor Mr. Jan Čepelík. The exhibition was dedicated to specimen
of gems that are currently used in jewellery making and examples of synthetic
substitutes for gems, artificial stones and it also touched upon fraud attempts
in the mineralogical market. The part dedicated to synthetic products and
frauds was accompanied by texts. We wish to thank Mr. Jan Čepelík for preparing
the exhibition and for lending exhibits. Some of the exhibits were on lent from
Mr. Luděk Kráčmar.
Jewels by Karel
Votipka
The third part of the supporting exhibition was
dedicated to the profile exhibition with examples of jewellery designed by the
world famous jewellery maker Karel Votipka. Karel Votipka brought himself some
of the jewels and he also took part in arranging his jewels. We wish to thank
Karel Votika and Luděk Kráčmar who organised the exhibition.
