Minerals Brno will offer inspiration for Christmas shopping and a generous extra programme
Minerals
from all over the world, designer jewellery, creative workshops, and an
interesting exhibition – all this awaits visitors to the Brno Exhibition
Centre, where the 45th Minerals Brno sales exhibition will take place on 26 and
27 November.
220 dealers from fifteen countries are heading to Hall B, where the exhibition is to be held. People will be able to expand their collections with beautiful geodes, cut stones and medicinal minerals.
Lovers of original jewellery will also find something to their liking. However, not only original jewellery, but also home accessories will be available – whether decorations or, for example, bowls and wine glasses.
The exhibition will present minerals from Brno district
Traditionally, the autumn Minerals Brno is also associated with an accompanying exhibition. This year it is called Minerals of the Greater Brno Area and will feature six hundred minerals. An extensive collection of ore balls or rare specimens of trilobites will also be available for viewing. Visitors from the Brno region will find it interesting to examine specimens from often even historical localities of their residence.
Educational programme for children
Minerals Brno is an event for the whole family. Children can look forward to an edutainment programme as well as creative workshops. The Institute of Geological Sciences of the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University has prepared an adventure escape game full of coded messages, while the Museum of Vysočina in Třebíč has prepared a puzzle with mineralogical topics.
Local transfers provided to visitors by an autonomous minibus
As the November weather is unpredictable, the organisers have prepared a new feature in cooperation with the Transport Research Centre. An autonomous minibus will transfer visitors between the main entrance and Hall B free of charge. People can thus experience this means of transport of the future for themselves.
The 45th edition of the Minerals Brno sales exhibition opens on 26 and 27 November
from 9 AM. On Saturday, the gates of the exhibition centre will close at 6 PM, on Sunday at 4.30 PM. Basic admission costs CZK 120, discounted one half of that sum. Tickets at best prices can be purchased on-line.
