Minerals Jiří Špalek
The company MINERÁLY Jiří Špalek was established at the beginning of 1995. It deals with the purchase, sale and mining of minerals, collection, decorative, systematic and study minerals and rocks, consulting in the field of mineralogy, equipping collections and selling supplies and accessories for mineralogists and now also the production of school supplies for mineralogy and geology.
Jiří Špalek engaged in amateur collecting for several years and gradually moved this activity to a professional level. During his studies in mining and mining geology, he was intensely interested in mineralogy and geology, where he gained practical knowledge in "drilling" at various mines. Subsequently, he began to exhibit at mineralogical exhibitions at home and abroad. At the same time, together with colleagues, he visited locations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia and has now expanded his "group expeditions" to Asia, the USA and Africa.
At present, the company Minerály Jiří Špalek offers the most diverse offer of minerals in the Czech Republic and now also a rich offer of school aids for mineralogy and geology. Thanks to favorable prices and a wide range, it supplies minerals for study and decorative purposes to many schools, institutions and museums in the Czech Republic and abroad.
The following new samples will be shown at the July exhibition: two-colored fluorites from China, large druse of pigs, large spinel crystals on a matrix from Burma, beautiful spatial rutiles from Brazil, two-colored and interesting druses of calcite from China and much more.
