Fair for food industry and gastronomy
The SALIMA food fairs and the EMBAXPRINT trade fair have begun!
More than 28.500 m2 of the Brno Exhibition Centre will feature more than 794 exhibiting companies and 435 represented brands from 36 countries and the European Union from today to Saturday. The jubilee 30th annual SALIMA food fair and also VINEX, MBK and INTECO fairs. The packaging and printing fair EMBAXPRINT begins on the same day but it will only last until Friday, 19 February 2016.
Although the official opening of the fairs will be held in the evening in the Rotunda of Hall A, we can consider the official visit of the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Marian Jurečka and his visits to various expositions an opening ceremony. The exhibition stand of the South Moravia Region was officially opened by the Minister, together with the First Deputy Governor of the South Moravian region, Mr. Celý.
Despite the not particularly pleasant weather which prevailed at the exhibition centre today, an unusually large number of trade visitors arrived after nine o'clock. There is remarkable interest in exhibitors and products both in the ‘food halls A and V, as well as in the Hall G1, where the packaging and printing fair EMBAXPRINT is taking place.
