International Forestry and Hunting Fair
A number of new products and entertainment at the SILVA REGINA fair
We are counting down just weeks to the start of the International Forestry and Hunting Fair SILVA REGINA. The visitors are awaited by green-tinted, forest-scented hall „Z“ at the Brno exhibition centre with a number of game-keeping exhibits and, first and foremost, innovations to be presented by their exhibitors. The hall is booked up already and the same is true about the outdoor spaces.
SILVA REGINA is a venue for gamekeepers, foresters and nature lovers not only from the Czech Republic, but also from Slovakia and the neighbouring countries. The exhibition will offer hunter’s trophies, hunter‘s interior designs, timber-frame structures, artisan furniture, valuable works of art made of antlers and leather. Original pieces with natural motifs can be acquired from artisans, mainly items made of glass, ceramics, engravings, shotguns, knives and jewels.
Hunting guns will not be missing
A very popular part of SILVA REGINA is presented by the exhibition of hunting guns and ammunition. You will find rifles, shotguns, and small-bore rifles of various types and makes. The exhibitors will include the company Walter Trading. This company will present several new products at the fair. At its stand it will also introduce new models of Browning shotguns, semi-automatic rifles BAR MK3 and BuckMark pistols. The brand Heckler & Koch will be represented by semi-automatic pistols, calibre 9 mm, and semi-automatic rifles.
Rich supporting programme at the hall and in the outdoor spaces
The preparation of the SILVA REGINA fair involves a number of public and private organisations that have prepared an interesting supporting programme for the visitors. You can look forward to bugleman contest, falconer and cynologist show, interesting guests and musical performances. Examples of taxidermy will be presented at the stand of the Czech Union of Taxidermy whose representatives will introduce the history of taxidermy and a consulting centre. Part of Hall Z will be dedicated to the „House of Lobkowitz“ exhibition. The exhibition will introduce the family’s trophies, collections of historic maps and uniforms and historic carriages. The outdoor spaces will be occupied by wood cutters who will compete as well present the construction of a hunter manger or wooden statue carving. There will also be a bee-keeping hall with technologies and bee products.
Over fifty firms at the BIOMASS fair
The BIOMASA fair is very well interlinked with the agricultural and forestry exhibitions TECHAGRO and SILVA REGINA. It presents possibilities of utilising biomass from fields, meadows, forests and stables, which offers a logical super-structure over the day-to-day work of farmers and foresters. Practical examples of biomass processing, in particular wood mass, cannot be missed in front of hall P in outdoor area R1, newly allocated by the organisers for this purpose. „The interest of companies taking part in the live demonstrations has already exceeded last year’s edition and these are again the leading well known producers. This event is also interesting for laymen who normally do not see these machines in action as well as for professionals who wish to buy such a machine. Here they can come and compare a vast number of machines in one place“, says Stanislav Václavek, co-organiser of the Biomass fair.
