The Fashion Fairs Introduce New Fashion Hits

International Fashion Fairs STYL and International Fairs of Footwear and Leatherware KABO take place twice a year at the Brno Exhibition Centre and at present, they are the only B2B presentation in the field of fashion for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This year in February, 265 companies from fourteen countries participated in the fairs and their merchandise has raised great interest.

The STYL and KABO Fairs have been taking place in Brno for 20 years; fashion collections for the upcoming seasons have been ordered here and manufacturers, suppliers, businesspeople and other professionals from the field of the textile, fashion and leatherware industry have been meeting. In February 2013, exhibition stands took area exceeding 7500 m² and over the course of three days, more than 5,400 registered visitors passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre. Purchasers were able to select from collections by more than 500 fashion, footwear and leatherware brands, both purely Czech or predominantly foreign.  There were some newcomers to the Czech market, such as the Polish urban youth fashion brand Mooda Urban Fashion, Slovenian women’s and men’s ready-to-wear clothes Mura, Danish handbags Flora Danica, Italian handbags Burglar or trendy women’s footwear Bétsy.

Since the Czech market has started to awaken from the decline and there was some fresh wind in the interest in merchandise and numbers of orders, the organizers asked the exhibitors which of their products attracted the most interest. The next, already 42^nd International Fashion Fairs STYL and KABO will be held from 18^th to 20^th August 2013. Traditional and major participants have already registered, such as Favab, Christa Probst, Perab, PM Styl, Jopess, Šulc, Casamoda, AMJ, R.G.I., Veltex, Jihočeská textilní, Pletex, Kalipra, Arikos, Pleas, Jitex Comfort, Anita, Madonna and others. The KABO Fair will also feature brands such as Wortmann (brands Tamaris), Rieker, Geneze (brands Josef Seibel, Romika, Gerry Weber),  Iberius (brands Bunker, Calaghan, Joe Sanchez, Pikolinos), Obutex (brands Betty Blue, Alpinex), S.´Oliver, Jana Shoes, Wendel (brands Marco Tozzi), Gabor, Caprice, Lanson (brands Acer, Icebug, Junior League, Ten Points, West Port), Unidax (brands S.Fiorentino),V+J, T+M Konsorcium (brands Raweks, KTR), Högl, Gabor, Arteddy.EU, Legero nebo Analpa (brands Betsy, Kedo). The STYL Fair will introduce elegant Italian fashion Sandro Ferrone, a brand of youth fashion and accessories Lovemusic or leisure feather jackets by Prosport. The KABO fair will newly present handbags and footwear by the brand Andrea Morelli or luggage by Dielle. More than half of the exhibition area of last fashion fairs is already taken and also collective national participation from Hungary and Indonesia are being negotiated. The second application deadline for exhibitors accompanied by a 10% discount for the exhibition area rent is on 22^nd May 2013.
