The STYL and KABO trade fairs: the first day offered a trinity of exhibitions

This Saturday in Brno marked the beginning of the STYL and KABO fashion trade fairs, which include contractual fashion exhibitions in the pavilion P. As is tradition, the first visitors saw a display of women’s and men’s fashion at the STYL SHOW, followed with collections of underwear, nightwear, and lingerie at the LINGERIE SHOW, and swimsuits, beachwear and accessories at the BEACHWEAR SHOW. The opening video reminded us of the fact that the exhibitions take place in the year when the fashion trade fairs celebrate their 50^th anniversary, and also introduced the main partners of the event – the companies Keenwell, GK Hair and CCC.

This August‘s STYL SHOW is a six-part series in which the companies and brands LERROS, WAIPUNA, TRAMONTANA, MODĚVA, RINASCIMENTO, BETTY M., and E. DANIELY gradually take turns playing the leading part. The opening belonged to men’s and women’s leisurewear, which combines a smart casual style with relaxed elegance. This was taken care of by the timeless models of the German brand LERROS with the help of WAIPUNA bags, and the Dutch fashion brand TRAMONTANA with its longterm focus on the modern, active woman who is always on the move and is able to combine her clothes appropriately.

The third part of the series introduced Moděva Konice. The traditional Czech manufacturer of women’s and men’s clothing presented its current collection of women’s and men’s winter coats, paletots, and padded jackets, accompanied by models created in cooperation with the fashion designer Jana Berg. Moděva primarily uses wool with cashmere and nylon; some of their pieces this year were complemented with fur in the colour of the material, this time shades of blue or camel.

The last three fashion companies focused purely on women – the Italian brand RINASCIMENTO bet mostly on originality and an interesting combination of styles and materials, BETTY M. embraced femininity and retro, while the closing and largest collection of E. DANIELY centered on elegance and variability, where, for example, their double-sided skirts enabled a black-and-white transformation right in front of the visitors. Those who couldn’t make it on Saturday can still come any of the next two exhibition days between 10.30 and 13.30.
