Three-Day Fashion Marathon Begins

The fashion trade fairs STYL and KABO started off this morning in Brno. From Saturday to Monday, they will fill the pavilions P and F of the Brno Exhibition Centre, where the business dealings of traders will be accompanied by lectures and fashion shows; the first one of which took place this morning in the pavilion P. It was the show of women’s and men’s fashion STYL SHOW, which introduced the companies and brands TRAMONTANA, MODĚVA, SOCCX, DOMENICA BENSO, CAMP DAVID, DIANE LAURY, and C´EST BEAU LA VIE.

The trade fair catwalk was dominated by women’s fashion for Autumn/Winter 2016. It was aimed at modern women, who are youthful, who work, spend their free time actively, go out, and want to look good, feminine, elegant, and professional while doing all these activities, and at the same time want both their leisure and work clothes to be comfortable. All these criteria were met by individual collections, which, for different occasions, combined trousers, blouses, jackets, suits, but also sweaters, vests, parkas, or plaids. Women’s and men’s coats, paletots, and pelerines – sometimes accessorised with fur – were introduced by the brand MODĚVA, who enriched simple models with new cuts, with fastenings, and, in moderate degree, with glittering accessories or colours, when they added light blue to the traditional black and white. Men’s fashion was the main aim of the brand CAMP DAVID, who proved that not even man should be afraid of colours like red or bright yellow when it comes to sweaters, quilted vests, or parkas.

While the pavilion P came alive today mainly thanks to women’s and men’s fashion, lingerie, nightwear, and hosiery, the pavilion F was occupied by footwear, handbags, and other accessories. Demonstrations of the work of students from vocational schools are also on display – students from the SUPŠ Uherské Hradiště  school and the Department of Shoe Design from the Faculty of Multimedia Communications in the Tomas Bata University in Zlín present their work within the KABO FORUM.
