Brief characteristics of the exhibit
AutoStop BiG X is a forage harvester safety system which prevents blockages of the cutting assembly. If the amount of material moving to the cutting assembly is limited in terms of throughput, the engine speed reduction will be affected. When the speed drops to 1 200 rev/min, the safety system automatically stops the hydrostatic drive of the header and feed rollers. This will prevent further supply of material to the cutterhead and the engine and the cutterhead will regain the operating speed.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
Unique KRONE developed system for BiG X forage harvesters. The system improves the smooth progress of harvesting and significantly reduces the demands on the forage harvester operator in rough harvest conditions. No need to remove material from the blocked cutting device of the forage harvester. This benefit will be appreciated by every operator of the self-propelled forage harvesters.
