Brief characteristics of the exhibit
To meet the requirements of customers who use tractors up to 180 horse power, the Claas company decided to develop its own transmission with unique structure and properties. It is transmission Claas EQ 200 with two hydro static units, multi lamella clutch to change driving range and associated planetary gear. The new gearbox design ensures a high mechanical efficiency throughout whole speed range.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
Hydromechanical transmission Claas EQ 200 is a product of evolution in last years. The design of the gearbox accepts latest requirements of the tractor users. New knowledge in engineering of hydro-mechanical transmissions allows reaching the compact size and simple structure while increasing the overall efficiency of the gear throughout the speed range of the tractor.
