Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Inter row cultivator with liquid fertilizer application was developed as a priority in order to reduce water erosion in sugar beet fields. This effect is achieved by original shape of tines, which create storage space for the retention of rainwater in soil. Inter row unit is equipped with knives for liquid mineral fertilization application. Created soil structure surface and modulation of the soil profile increase the retention of rain water, slow its run-off and significantly reduce water erosion. In contrast with smaller rainfall totals, direct movement of rainwater to the applied fertilizer and to the plant roots, which improves the efficiency of fertilization.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
Construction advantage is mainly in the original shape of tines, which creates favorable shape of the bottom soil furrow and storage space for the retention of rainwater. The optimal setting of these tines directs the water to the places with the increased need and into created space in the soil. Application of liquid mineral fertilizers to the roots of plants and places with better and more stable water regime is also specific for this machine. The frame is technically designed for front three-point hitch as push version or for rear three-point hitch with integrated fertilizer tank as pulled version. The machine is equipped with in-row guidance directly connected with tractor steering. This will increase productivity and precision of the machine.
