Brief characteristics of the exhibit
It refers to equipment for drying air heating by means of energy obtained from cogeneration units of biogas stations.
This equipment is of constructional modular conception, thus it can be used for all types of cogeneration units and shaft feeding dryers (drying units) of all producers. The hot-air dryer equipped with this device is able to fully cover its energetic needs from a renewable energy source – biogas, and at the same time efficiency increases and the use of biogas station with the cogeneration unit decreases costs needed for drying crops and emissions which would be released into the air at burning fossil fuels are reduced as well.
The equipment has its own control system linked to the dryer control system. Thanks to this, a smooth operation of the dryer and the cogeneration unit is ensured and, at the same time, the produced energy in the cogeneration unit is used in an optimum way.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
The above-given equipment successfully deals with the energetic needs of the dryer fully from the renewable energy source – energy obtained from biogas. Competitive companies offer solution based only on the use of waste heat from the cogeneration unit cooling system and they warm up the air by means of another energy source from fossil fuels.
