Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Even flow of material combine harvester is a prerequisite for its maximum utilization. Slopes of the lateral inclination, however, due to gravity is uneven load cleaning between its left and right halves. Thereby reducing the clarity and performance of the machine. 4D-cleaning performs active management of residual material flow separation and thus achieves uniform load cleaning. Also on the slopes with longitudinal gradient it is achieved by controlling the fan speed and lower sieves same performance as the machine on level ground. 4D-cleaning and allows the same machine performance under different field conditions.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
On CLAAS machines, 3D cleaning previously represented the state-of-the-art in compensating for slight lateral tilt. In this process, active control of the upper sieve reduces matting. The new 4D cleaning system is a driver assistance system for the LEXION 700 hybrid models series, which allows the full operating and cleaning potential of the combine harvester to be utilised even on longitudinal and lateral slopes. The 4D cleaning system takes effect as early as the residual grain separation stage and thus reduces the amount of cleaning needed. It consists of two components: slope-dependent rotor flap control and automatic fan control.
