Brief characteristics of the exhibit
There are very few days in which grain can be harvested at optimum quality. Therefore, it is important to use the maximum power of the machine. Automatic control of material flow monitors the load of the working units in order to timely identify critical spikes in load. When exceeding preset boundaries slip automatically shuts down some parts of the upright to prevent clogging. This system assists the driver in the certainty from accidental overload the machine and allows it to use the full power of the machine.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
The automatic crop flow monitoring system makes it a lot easier to walk the fine line between the need for maximum performance and concern about critical load peaks. The system helps the driver to recognise bad machine settings and/or crop flow problems at an early stage, thus assisting the driver to operate the machine at its optimal performance level. To do so, it continuously monitors and compares the rotational speeds of the engine, the APS threshing mechanism and the ROTO PLUS residual grain separation system during operation. Should a problem ever arise, the feeder housing, the attachment and the grain tank discharge system are shut off immediately and automatically, while the attachment brake is also activated, resulting merely in a brief interruption instead of a breakdown.
