Brief characteristics of the exhibit
CASE IH MAGNUM ROWTRAC is new, unique concept of tractor for field work which combine benefits of wheel and track undercarriage. Triangle tracks on rear axle with positive drive dramatically increase pulling force. In combination with low pressure tyres on front axle is soil pressure only 58 kPa. Contact area of Magnum Rowtrac undercarriage is much higher in comparison with standard tractor on dual wheels. Front steering axle allow perfect and gently steering and turning on headlands without soil disturbing. CASE IH offer much higher pulling performance and lower soil pressure than similar wheel tractors. Is ideal for tillage, soul preparation, drilling, planting o unloading wagon.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
CASE IH Magnum Rowtrac is equipped by original track undercarriage on rear axle with positive drive. In comparison with standard wheel tractor (tyres 650/60 R34 a 900/60R42) offer higher contact area about 45% and soil pressure only 58 kPa. Track offer higher pulling force and lower negative soil compaction. Track undercarriage and its rollers can swing for perfect soil terrain copy. Front steering axle allow perfect and gently steering and turning on headlands without soil disturbing in comparison with only twin tract tractors. Magnum Rowtrac offer real “agronomic design”.
