Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Mobile sensor platform MSP3 is an innovative system for soil sampling while driving, which combines 3 auto soil sensors on one device. Analysis is done while the device is driving on the land. Ongoing mapping without stopping: 1. cation exchange capacity by measuring the electrical conductivity of the soil, 2. organic matter contain in the soil using an optical sensor, 3. the pH of the soil while driving using a pH electrode. Complete maps of the lands are created based on the sampling, usable e.g. for high-precision variable liming.
