The forage harvester Fendt Katana 65 with high performance and quality of work will satisfy even the most demanding customers. MTU engine with an output of 625 PS, two-stage angle gear for the drive units, insertion device with six squeezing rollers, the largest cutterhead on the market and modular tanks are the most important elements of the machine. New cab with control and steering system Variotronic, well-known from Fendt tractors, offers superior operator comfort.
Specification of advantages compared to the competitors
Thanks longitudinal engine mounts and angular two-stage angle gearbox are ensured a constant speed cutting system in both full power mode and in standby mode. Fendt Katana cutters have a cutting drum with the largest diameter of 720 mm on the market. All-wheel drive system and monitoring wheel slip ASR ensures optimum traction under adverse soil and climatic conditions. Yield measurement system in conjunction with control of the drive allows maximum utilization of engine power.
