Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Frostica surpasses standard varieties of winter pea feed with a high yield of green and dry matter (104.8%). According to the frost tests, it has a high level of winter hardness and rapid initial growth. An important factor compared to control varieties is the higher resistance to the complex of root diseases. Beneficial for farmers is also the very low to low weight of a thousand seeds (HTS 100 to 120 g), which reduces the need for seeds per hectare.
