Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Spitfire is a registered , medium to early spring varieties of malting barley. It has a high yield of the front grain and a high value of malting quality - 7.5 points. The combination of these features puts Spitfire at the top of the range of varieties in our country - comparison with already registered varieties in SDO 2017. Good health is also an important factor in cultivation. The variety is named Spitfire in honor of the Czech Air Force fighters in World War II. at the RAF.
