The International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO will soon fill up the entire Brno exhibition centre. An area over 83,000 m2 will introduce over 700 exhibitors and  the exhibition stands will attract tens of thousands of visitors and present the very latest innovations in this sector. What has happened over the past two years since the last edition? What new machines can now be purchased, what technologies will be introduced at the fair? We have approached selected  exhibitors and it is already clear now that Brno TECHAGRO held between 3rd – 7th April 2016 will again introduce the very best of what can be found in the agricultural machinery market.

New machine series and improved technologies

The Rokycany-based company SMS CZ s.r.o. has prepared interesting innovations for its customers. „At our stand we will introduce to our customers our new HKTx and HKKx deep working cultivator models, shovel cultivators RKLx and greatest attention will certainly be drawn to the new type of Cambridge rollers with a reach of  12 and 15 meters. A new model of disk cultivator DBMTx with a disk diameter of 610 mm will premiere at this Czech exhibition“, says Ing. Vladimír Cingroš.

BEDNAR FMT s.r.o. needs no introducing as it has been one of the leading companies in the Czech market. We asked Ing. Marek Šmika what they have prepared for TECHAGRO. „At our stand, we will present the disk plough-harrow SWIFTERDISC XE 14000. This 14-meter, high performance disk plough-harrow of a short design with each disk separately effectively protected by means of rubber mounting, is designed for fast, quality, low-cost undercut after harvest or for pre-sowing preparation of the soil. Thank to the wide working range and high speed rates the user can achieve enormous daily performance rates. The unique system of driving the machine forward gives the machine very small transport dimensions. Despite a very high working  range, the machine has a small rotation diameter on the plough turning end thanks to the front rotary supporting wheels and rotation along the rear rammers.“

The company STROM Praha a.s. will introduce new tractors as well as other agricultural machinery. “New, completely modified front-end loaders of the R series offer a simple connection and disconnection to/from the tractor where the main frame need not be secured by pins. They are of an even more robust design, feature higher accuracy and preciseness and higher lifting power.  The version with mechanical balancing MSL has the parallelogram drawbar fitted under the main support which gives the loader the best view from the cabin “, says Vojtěch Sopoušek. There will also be a new product introduced, being forage harvesters of the 8000 series. „ This is a brand new generation of forage harvesters offering perfect performance, improved crop flow, ease of operation and exclusive design. The new cabin which gives a perfect view and access to all control elements ranks amongst the best in the market. The award granted by the specialist DLG jury in the form of one gold and one silver medal goes to show that the new 8000-serices harvesters once again raise the quality bar in its category“, adds Vojtěch Sopoušek.
