TECHAGRO – the Future of Agriculture
From 3 to 7 April 2016, a complex of four agricultural and forestry fairs will be held in the Czech Republic, at the Brno Exhibition Centre: TECHAGRO International Agricultural Equipment Trade Fair, SILVA REGINA International Forestry and Hunting Fair, ANIMAL VETEX International Veterinary Fair and BIOMASS Trade Fair for Renewable Sources of Energy in Agriculture and Forestry. Among these fairs clearly dominates the TECHAGRO fair. This complex is among the three largest of its kind in Europe. On an area of 86,000 square meters will locate their displays 760 exhibitors from 22 countries and visitors will see 1167 represented brands. This year's will record the highest number of foreign participations in the history of the organization of the trade fairs. Numerous groups of exhibitors will come from Hungary and Italy, and for the first time representatives from Korea will attend.
Precision agriculture at the TECHAGRO fair
Agricultural equipment will be displayed in most halls and outdoor areas of the Brno Exhibition Centre; a temporary exhibition hall has been erected on the open area. Newly, a significant presence of companies offering electronic control technologies, navigation systems, automation and other intelligent solutions called "precision agriculture" will be in place. Expanded this year will also be the offer of post-harvest technologies and machinery, and in one place in Hall E will be concentrated a range of companies offering spare parts for agricultural machinery.
SILVA REGINA for foresters and hunters
The SILVA REGINA fair is located in Hall Z and on its adjacent outdoor areas. In this part of the exhibition will be presented all the equipment for forestry and also a wide range of hunting products. The SILVA REGINA fair features a rich sideline program aimed at both professionals and the general public – for example: hawkers, cynologists and taxidermists, exhibitions of uniforms and photos. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase supplies for hunting.
BIOMASS with demonstrations of technology
Visitors will find the displays of the BIOMASS fair in a part of Hall Z and the open areas in its vicinity. Exhibitors will bring in their machines for processing biomass from forestry activities and visitors will see them in operation, as well as boilers and other equipment related with biogas. The BIOMASS fair is linked with a rich sideline program consisting of technology demonstrations and lectures.
ANIMAL VETEX and the Central European Veterinary Congress
In Hall A2 visitors will find the ANIMAL VETEX fair whose exhibitors display mainly feed, veterinary products, nutritional supplements or breeding services. A part of this trade fair is also a show of dairy cattle, beef cattle, villages, goats and pigs in the outdoor areas. The sideline program will run daily commented shows of dairy cattle. The gallery of Hall C will host a large beekeeping exhibition associated with lectures, demonstrations and sales of beekeeping supplies.
The Exhibition Centre is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. Discounted admission can be obtained with online ticket purchase and for bus tour participants.
