Šternberk brownfield awarded by the European Commission
On 23rd April 2014 at 1 p.m., the town of Šternberk will present
its business park as part of this year‘s
URBIS INVEST 2014 fair. This business park has been successfully developing and
offers vacant lots for development. At
the end of last year, the project „Business parks Šternberk“ was proclaimed by the European
Commission the national winner of the European entrepreneurship support award
for converting a brownfield into a business park. At present, this locality is utilised
by businesses engaged in the field of chemistry, mechanical engineering, machinery
maintenance, transport, civil engineering and telecommunications. The business park is
located on the outskirts of the town in the direction of Olomouc in the immediate vicinity of the I/46
road. The lots with newly constructed infrastructure
are offered to entrepreneurs in the field of manufacture, industry,
agriculture, administration as well as businesses of natural and legal persons.
