Visitors to URBIS SMART CITY FAIR 2021 Praised the Presentation of the Statutory City of Brno

The URBIS SMART CITY FAIR online event was held from 2 to 4 June. Part of the event was the traditional GOLD URBIS exhibit competition, which, due to the format of the event, took a different shape than in previous seasons. This year, visitors to the exhibition section could choose the exhibitor that was most interesting for them. Another prize was awarded by the editorial board of the magazine Moderní obec [Modern Municipality].

The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 3 June at 5 PM in the URBIS studio, in the presence of representatives of the city of Brno and of the company Trade Fairs Brno. The editors of the magazine Moderní obec joined the ceremony online.

The visitors clearly decided that GOLD URBIS would go to the Statutory City of Brno, which presented at its exposition the way it handles development projects, such as the Špitálka clever district.

The editorial board of the Moderní obec magazine gave an award to the Kooperativa production and trade cooperative for multifunctional masts of the eLITE and SMART series, which, in addition to public lighting, also integrate security cameras, wifi hotspots, charging stations and other equipment.

The next season of URBIS SMART CITY FAIR will take place in June 2022 at the Brno Exhibition Centre and will focus, among other things, on autonomous mobility.
