Pavilion of the Art and Industry School in Prague
Author: Pavel Janák
The building was originally conceived as a shop and a family house of a bookseller and antiquity dealer; its shell is made of face bricks with reinforced concrete ceilings, richly lit by glazed surfaces. On the ground floor, there was a shop with an exhibition room, on the first and second floors the owner's modern flat. Terraces and stained glass in the windows along with the location in the garden gave the building a very nice and elegant expression.
