At this year’s WOOD-TEC, BLUM will introduce its traditional cross-section of its entire production portfolio-  innovations in the field of drawer lift and pull-out systems and furniture fittings. It will also present machines for furniture fittings complementing the range of products as the cabinet makers and furniture manufacturers are always interested in these products  in Brno. At the BLUM exhibition stand, the visitors will also find a presentation of the software support for fittings manufacture named DYNALOG, as well as e-services demo.

„Wood Tec gives us a prestigious opportunity to show innovations in our range of products once in two years. Furthermore, this event follows the spring international fair in Cologne, This prepares our mother company,  Julius Blum GmbH, to introduce hot launches at our   WOOD-TEC fair, too, and we can thus approach furniture manufactures of all sizes ranging from industrial plants to the smallest joiner’s workshops.  Other customer segments besides the manufactures who come to visit us in Brno are architects and designers and, last but not least, representatives of kitchen and furniture studios,“ says Jaroslav Doutnáč, BLUM.

The exhibition stand will offer a new conception of the DYNAMIC SPACE practical kitchen planning system based on three crucial pillars "SPACE", "MOVEMENT", "FLUENCY". The objective is to ensure fluent work and comfort in the kitchen, enough storage space and high comfort of movement. Another interesting feature is the third line of drawer pull-out  TANDEMBOX system named TANDEMBOX antaro and the brand new design towards the runner  BOX systems - LEGRABOX.  The company also launches a new guiding system with a synchronised smooth operation MOVENTO. This will ensure more perfect running characteristics of drawers and pull-out systems made of wood. The system has a dynamic load-bearing capacity of 40 or 60 kg. „We also keep developing our family of lift systems, AVENTOS.  At the fair, we would like to introduce the entire services including new possible applications. All this is about movement. Our fittings make cabinet and drawer opening and closing an experience, and all this also increases the comfort of movement in all rooms in a flat, in particular the kitchen,“ says Jaroslav Doutnáč.

Blum employing more than 5,700 people around the world focuses on attaining perfect movement of the hinge systems based on the needs of kitchen users. „As regards the global benefit for the customer, everyone manufacturing, selling, installing and using furniture should profit from our service and performance offer.  BLUM manufactures furniture hinges ensuring a perfect comfortable movement of all furniture parts – lift and runner systems, furniture fittings and hinges. All furniture moving parts come with a "Lifetime Warranty", i.e. a warranty covering the entire service life of the furniture, says Jaroslav Doutnáč. Besides these basic fittings, BLUM also offers handle-less furniture opening systems that can either be mechanical (TIP-ON), or electric (SERVO-DRIVE). 

In the opinion of Jaroslav Doutnáč, the economic crisis affected Blum rather from the global point as BLUM currently delivers its products to more than 90 countries around the world. „The situation was probably most sensitive in the US. Nevertheless, the crisis was also reflected in our conditions. First, by a slump in the residential house and flat construction. This also reduced the demand for furnishings and the "hunger" for furniture fittings.  Despite that, the crisis also had its bright side. At the time of the crisis, many furniture users enjoyed quality furniture fitted with quality systems. Therefore, it may well be that the crisis was the starting point of selling  some top articles that are offered at higher prices but provide a higher level of comfort and quality ,“ adds Jaroslav Doutnáč.
