SMARTeye - exhaust system that works and saves
The rising energy prices make the production plants look for new cost savings solutions while keeping the same performance. At the WOOD-TEC fair, the company GreMi KLIMA CZ will introduce a new system called SMARTeye, which offers a solution in the form of opex savings related to sawdust exhaustion during wood processing. The exhaust optimising system developed by GreMi KLIMA CZ can ensure high performance while saving not only the costs of electricity.
„In the past, when switching on the exhaust system even for a single working table, the ventilator started running at full power. We can optimise this consumption using motor-operated clack valves SMARTeye. Whenever necessary, the system activates itself automatically, stops automatically, sets the revolutions of the exhaust ventilator thus saving energy, and it safely opens and closes motor-operated clack valves in the pipes. It ensures smart response to the start-up or interruption of the operation of any exhaust equipment, change in the working load and other control parameters,“ says David Kraviec, manager of the Třinec branch office.
The system can be interconnected with other exhaust elements. As required by the operation, the filtration hose regeneration interval can be set along with the operation of screw rotary feeders and other elements of the exhaust system. The motor-operated SMARTeye clack valves are suitable for new as well as existing operations. One of the system advantages is the significant reduction in el. power consumption by up to 59% compared to the nominal electric input, elimination of rapidly rising el. current consumption after the start-up of the working shift, reduced noise nuisance, ventilator and other components wear as well as costs of heating.
GreMi KLIMA was established in 2004. Since 2007, it has operated in the field of exhaust systems and wood waste processing. It offers comprehensive solutions to wood waste processing from the determination of its origin and quantities, through exhausting, transport, filtration and storage. It also ensures the processing of produced waste as a source of energy for heating the production premises or as a source of heat for wood driers.
