International Fair for Wood Processing and Furniture Industry
WOOD-TEC 2017 will feature WOOD-TEC ARENA and an Exhibit Competition
The WOOD-TEC International Fair for Wood Processing and Furniture Industry is the most important fair for the woodworking and furniture industries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its next edition will be held at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 31 October to 3 November 2017.
WOOD-TEC will be a prestigious fair this year, too. According to the information received by the organizers at meetings with exhibitors, obviously very frequently are represented the two main nomenclature groups – wood processing machines and components for furniture production.
The sideline program of this year's WOOD-TEC will feature again the WOOD-TEC ARENA as a major space for most parts of the sideline programme. In 2015, it appeared for the first time and met with a great acclaim from the visitors, who appreciated mainly the opportunity to learn about news from the industry and combine a visit to the exhibition with education. Exhibitors appreciated quality background facilities and the conceptual design of the commercial presentation system.
An Exhibit Competition will have its first run in 2017. Its aim is to give exhibitors the opportunity to highlight advanced exhibits, news and interesting items. The competition is being prepared with partners from professional associations of the wood processing industry and universities.
