WOOD-TEC: Fair with a scent of wood
The Brno Exhibition Centre will host the traditional fair for wood-processing and furniture industries WOOD-TEC, which will be held between 22nd – 25th October. WOOD-TEC, taking place once in two years, has become a red-letter day for wood fans and will be held for the thirteenth time this year. Over its existence, WOOD-TEC has established a very firm position amongst global fairs in these industries and has become the leading specialist fair in the field of wood processing in the new space defined by the European Union.
The high level of expertise and quality of the fair is also demonstrated by a strong support expressed by associations, unions, state-funded institutions and media partners. The largest of these include the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers - EUMABOIS – whose member federations view this fair as one of the most important events in the wood processing industry.
Traditionally, the fair will take place in Halls P and F and adjacent outdoor spaces. The professionals can look forward to the presentation of over 160 firms and companies coming from 10 countries. „I see this year’s edition in optimistic terms,“ says Miloň Mlčák, Fair Manager. „Despite the negative information about the situation in this sector, most exhibitors have decided to take part in the fair including the leading companies and use this opportunity to strengthen the partnerships and business relationships and, potentially, establish new contacts. I am pleased by the interest of the traditional exhibitors and I value their loyalty. Likewise, I am pleased to see that there are also companies registering for the fair for the first time.
