Fair of renewable energy sources in agriculture and forestry
The international fair Techagro is a major agricultural equipment show in Europe
Between 30th March -3rd April, the Brno Exhibition Centre in the Czech Republic will host a group of fairs headed by the international fair of agricultural technology TECHAGRO. These fairs rank amongst the three largest fairs of this kind in Europe and a visit to these fairs offers a good opportunity to map out the innovations in agricultural and forestry equipment as well as to meet experts, colleagues and everyone in the community of farmers, foresters and game keepers. The first TECHAGRO fair took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre 20 years ago and this edition will become more than a dignified celebration of this anniversary. The agricultural fair TECHAGRO will be taking place alongside the international forestry and hunting fair SILVA REGINA, the fair of renewable sources of energy in agriculture and forestry BIOMASS and the veterinary fair ANIMAL VETEX.
Agricultural equipment will occupy the entire Brno exhibition centre except for Hall H and adjacent outdoor spaces which are dedicated to forestry equipment, hunters and biomass production and processing. Even spaces reserved for the supporting programme in the past have been sold out this year. The exhibition space will introduce all manufacturers and distributors of agricultural equipment operating in Europe such as John Deere, domestic Zetor, New Holland, Case, Kuhn. Other Czech manufacturers of agricultural machines and equipment for soil cultivation will include FARMET and ZDT Nové Veselí. There will be hundreds of exhibits on display here. The companies have announced brand new innovations as well as well-established and tested machines to be showcased.

The BIOMASS fair is also closely linked to agriculture and forestry and will focus on the processing of biomass for energy generation. The spaces around Hall Z will offer the visitors not only static exhibits but also practical onsite demonstrations of machines – chippers, crushers and machines designed for loose material loading. These demonstrations will take place daily throughout the fair.
In its forestry section, SILVA REGINA will mainly offer its visitors all kinds of equipment for timber harvesting and related rich supporting programme including wood-cutting sports. For hunters, a visit to Hall Z will become a real treat: along with numerous hunting exhibits- for example trophies – the visitors can look forward to sales exhibition where they will be choose from hunter clothing, guns, ammunition, binoculars and the entire range of products related to hunting and outdoors
The exhibitors are registered in all product categories and will arrive from a total of 29 countries.
The livestock show is one of the important parts of the TECHAGRO fair. This year, a total of 22 meat cattle breeds will be on display.
