Fair of renewable energy sources in agriculture and forestry
Agriculture and forestry fairs launched with the participation of Minister of Agriculture
The complex of agricultural and forestry fair started today at 9 am when gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre opened. The interest of visitors has been enormous since day one; during the first three hours, 27,000 people passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre.
Awarded Exhibits Grand Prix
The complex of trade fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS was opened at 10 am with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Marian Jurečka and other distinguished guests.

The end of March and the beginning of April belong to the complex of agrarian and forestry fairs at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Between 30th March and 3rd April, the Exhibition Centre will host the fairs TECHAGRO - agriculture, SILVA REGINA – forestry, hunting, BIOMASS – renewable energies in agriculture and forestry and ANIMAL VETEX – veterinary fair.
The international fair Techagro is a major agricultural equipment show in Europe
Between 30th March -3rd April, the Brno Exhibition Centre in the Czech Republic will host a group of fairs headed by the international fair of agricultural technology TECHAGRO. These fairs rank amongst the three largest fairs of this kind in Europe and a visit to these fairs offers a good opportunity to map out the innovations in agricultural and forestry equipment as well as to meet experts, colleagues and everyone in the community of farmers, foresters and game keepers. The first TECHAGRO fair took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre 20 years ago and this edition will become more than a dignified celebration of this anniversary.
Behind Hall Z visitors will see demonstrations of crushers, grinders and other machinery for the handling of bulk wood material
BIOMASA will introduce a large number of machines for the processing of wood mass in operation. Stanislav Václavek, expert on biomass and director of DŘEVO-PRODUKT SV, gave us the details of the BIOMASA trade fair as well as its supporting programme.
Grand Prix will be competed for again at the TECHAGRO fair
The greatest agrarian event held this year, the international fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS, will be ceremonially opened on 30th March. Until 3rd April, the Brno exhibition centre will host the state-of-the-art agricultural machines and equipment as well as forest equipment, game-keeping presentations, technologies for livestock production and technologies for renewable resources energy use.
