MELFA industrial robots dedicated to F&B industry
Mitsubishi Electric product releases in 2015 were also crucial for F&B representatives. New industrial robot from the F-series portfolio is the one dedicated to food and drug manufacturing plants.
Designed to fulfill all FDA requirements (US Food & Drug Administration) is an answer to increasing demands of contemporary food&beverage and pharmaceutical industry. Thanks to an IP67 protection class and a special outside layer MELFA robots are resistant to harmful cleaning, acidic and alkaline chemicals such as widely used H2O2.
Smooth surface, special shape of screws and bellows prevents the robot from adhering and accumulation of filth. Thanks to a grease which is compliant with NSF H1 standard, robot can be used in food and drug production process with no risk of contamination. MELFA robots were awarded by the US Food and Drug Administration with a compliance certificate to operate in food&drug manufacturing plants.
