Brief characteristics of the exhibit

TITUS (Tactical Infantry Transport & Utility System) is the result of the co-operation between companies TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE, TATRA TRUCK and French manufacturer of specialized defence land forces products NEXTER SYSTEMS. TITUS belongs to the MRAV (Multi-Role Armoured Vehicle) category vehicle with ballistic and anti-mine protection from Level 1 till 4 of STANAG 4569, including CBR protection system. The TITUS 6x6 KOVS vehicle is designed to provide communication and information support and interoperability of the command and control system at the brigade, regimental and battalion level, especially in coalition operations with regard to mobility and modularity. Vehicles and the staff workplaces are designed to ensure the fulfillment of tasks in coalition operations in the Czech Republic and abroad and for the performance of other tasks (eg within the IRS). The TITUS 6x6 KOVS vehicle is designed to ensure the operation of command and control systems in various conditions of the conduct of combat, on the spot and in motion, and to ensure the automation of users' work within units of ground forces at the tactical level of command.
