The strategic partner of AURA in the field of materiel codification is Allan Webb Ltd. from the UK. AURA and Saab AB collaborate in the sphere of information systems for military logistics.

Are you regular exhibitors at the IDET trade fair? What has been your experience of taking part in the fair in the past?
AURA is a traditional exhibitor at the International Fair of Defence and Security Technology IDET in Brno. It has taken part in the event all 14 times it has been held, counting this year’s fair. We have had head offices in Brno since the company was established in 1989 and are patriotic about Brno, and this rather predestines us to participate in the trade fair in Brno, held at its unique exhibition centre that is the envy of the whole world. We are a purely Czech company, and develop and supply our own information systems specialising in military logistics and legal affairs. The IDET trade fair also plays its part in the fact that our products are used successfully on five continents.

Do you meet the right kind of customers in Brno?
Taking part in the IDET trade fair is an important business and marketing event for us. We meet up with our Czech customers and users of our information systems here, while contacts with foreign visitors, particularly official delegations, are also important to us. These contacts subsequently help us win new foreign customers.

What interesting items from your company’s range can we see at the fair? What new products are you presenting at the fair?
Visitors to our stand will, of course, get the chance of acquainting themselves with our traditional products and services, such as our information system for military logistics and comprehensive services relating to the NATO Codification System, where we can provide practically everything from MC CATALOGUE codification software and training to data cleansing and help with the introduction of the alliance codification system and the establishment of a National Codification Authority.

Our existing customers and potential new clients will also have the chance of acquainting themselves with new products in the AURA portfolio. We are now focusing on support for work with the master data of organisations such as commercial concerns and armed forces – this means cleansing data on materials and its subsequent maintenance, including its presentation in the form of illustrated catalogues. Another new product from the company for this year’s IDET is to be software supporting legal affairs which, in addition to law offices, can also ably serve our existing clients that have their own legal departments.
