MRI ensures meeting strategic and other significant interests of the state in the field of defence and security, the development of capacities of the Army of the Czech Republic, armed forces and the Emergency System of the Czech Republic as well as it performs the activities of industrial and business nature to ensure supplies and services needed to guarantee the defence and safety of the Czech Republic and discharges liabilities based on the membership in NATO and the EU. MRI cooperates with a number of countries in Europe – esp. with NATO and EU member countries, further with countries of the Mediterranean area.

Offer of Scientific and Technical Cooperation in the Area of Military Chemicals in the form of:

• research and development work in the area of detection, identification, protection and decontamination;
• laboratory and in-field testing of new materials, technologies and chemical engineering;
• securing the implementation and delivery of chemical technology and material;
• training of chemical experts in conditions of real chemical warfare agents use.

Offer of Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Special Electronics, Camouflage and Deception Areas in the form of:

• research and development in special technologies and resources electronic warfare, camouflage and deception areas;
• new means systems and technologies of electronic warfare, camouflage and deception testing;
• electronic warfare, camouflage and deception means implementation and delivery.

Offer of Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Material Engineering Areas in the form of:

• research and development in areas of materials and technologies of ballistic, anti-mine and corrosion protection;
• expert activity and testing of new military technology in areas of materials and technologies of ballistic, anti-mine and corrosion protection;
• ensuring of implementation and delivery of ballistic, anti-mine and corrosion protection means.
