The Administration of State Material Reserves (ASMR) is a central government agency in the sphere of economic measures for emergencies, oil security and the state’s materiál reserves.

To deal with crisis situations, it is necessary, among other things, to have the means and services which could be used immediately to the benefit of the people struck by a crisis situation. These means and services must be available, in particular, for the emergency survival of people and for the furtherance of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) and the activities of state administration. This task ensues for the Administration of State Material Reserves (ASMR) from the laws and is elaborated on in the so-called ‘System of Economic Measures for Crisis Situations (SEMCS)’. An important part of SEMCS is the sphere of state material reserves (SMR) divided, in terms of the purpose of use, into material reserves (MR), mobilization reserves (MOBR), emergency supplies (ES), and humanitarian help supplies (HHS). The responsibility for procuring, maintaining and funding SMR is one of the three basic competencies of ASMR. One of ASMR’s major activities in this domain is to ensure the purposeful and timely ‘Use of State Material Reserves in Crisis Situations’ for the people and the regions struck by a crisis.

Are you regular exhibitors at the IDET/PYROS/ISET trade fairs? What has been your experience of taking part in the fairs in the past?
Yes, the Administration of State Material Reserves is a regular exhibitor at the IDET/PYROS/ISET trade fair. Every year is exceptional in one way or another. This trade fair is extremely popular among both trade professionals and the general public, and it goes without saying that we are delighted to be able to provide those taking part with valuable information about the role played by the Administration of State Material Reserves in the security system of the Czech Republic and how the Administration of State Material Reserves helps citizens at times of crisis.

What interesting items from your company’s range can we see at the fair? What new products are you presenting in Brno?
At the fair, the Administration of State Material Reserves is again presenting equipment from its emergency supplies designed for ensuring emergency supplies of drinking water (tankers and drinking water tanks) and emergency supplies entrusted to the Czech Fire Rescue Service by the Administration, such as TACHP, a gamma radiation portal monitor, a salvage container and other interesting pieces of equipment. Members of the Fire Rescue Service will, as usual, also be providing an expert commentary on this equipment.

Who is your range of  products primarily aimed at?
As has already been said, we want to address the broad trade community and the general public and present our institution to them.

What do you expect  from this year’s fairs?
A pleasant atmosphere and a large number of visitors.
