The IDET Fair 2015 will be held at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 19 to 21 May 2015 together with the Fire and Security Technology PYROS / ISET and Personal Protection, Safety and Working Environment fair INTERPROTEC. Its focus is to contribute to the sharing of information, provide space for consultation and discussion on technology trends and contribute to the presentation of technological possibilities of Czech industry.

The motto of this year's exhibition stand of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic - "We are a team" - is an expression of the joint effort in providing the defence of the Czech Republic.

The exhibition stand will be located in Hall P and on the outdoor area between halls P and K and will symbolically depict a military base during military deployment of the Czech Army. The presented technology, equipment and gear of the ACR will document the readiness of the army to carry out the tasks and at the same time point out possibilities of improving and speeding up operations, expansion of capabilities and compatibility with the allies so that the army is ready for immediate response to potential threats of the present day. Dynamic demonstrations will take place in the outdoor exhibition space.

The supporting programme will include the SECURITY TRENDS launching conference. The University of Defence traditionally organizes the CATE conference (Community-Army-Technology-Environment), this time it will be made up of four sub-conferences on topics such as Military Technology 2015, Distance Learning, Simulation and Communication, Security and Protection of Information, Logistics and Ecology in the Armed Forces – Building Multinational Logistics Capabilities (MO MLCC). At the same time there will be a student symposium and a Cyber Security Education Project.

The exhibition stand – a military base – will be divided into an inner and outer part, while the space between the halls P and K will be bounded and connected to the interior of hall P.

Exhibits in Outdoor Area P
A Tactical Operations Centre (TOC) and the Joint Operations Centre (SOC) will present their functions and connections with digital and analogue communications equipment and KIM50, an information and communication module for 50 participants, a mobile geographic operations support workplace (GeMoZ-C), a TACMET tactical meteorological station, that predicts the weather using helium balloons with mounted probes, or an IVECO light armoured vehicle with a STAR/V mobile reconnaissance and jamming system for the purpose of detecting radio activity and sampling of signals in space and a mobile electronic warfare set (MKEB) designed to provide effective jammer action introduced for units deployed in current operations.

Residential zone with accommodation containers, kitchen and dining room, emergency shelter, a logistics - repair zone with field ammunition depot, containers for repair of communications equipment and metrology, a storage container and a mobile locksmith, troops protection zone with a standby shelter, protective walls, guard towers, pyrotechnic and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) protective suits, tEODor and TALON robots designed to survey unexploded ammunition and improvised explosive devices and a small decontamination car on a Tatra chassis (MDA), an ARTHUR radar and DANA gun howitzer. Health care at the base will be represented by a mobile changeover point (POP3) a field transfusion centre and haematology laboratory (PTP, BHL), but also a W3A Sokol helicopter and other equipment and material necessary for the operation of the base in military operations.

The trade fair will also include demonstrations of driving qualities of vehicles used by the ACR, Police, Fire and Rescue Service and other exhibitors, on a constructed polygon.

On the last day of the fair, the Brno Exhibition Centre prepares to open the event for the general public in order to promote military security activities, where the Army of the Czech Republic, the Czech Republic Police, the Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police will present their current vehicles, equipment and gear to the public in the form of static and dynamic demonstrations.
