20 companies and institutions that were present at the first IDET in 1993 and are still participating this year were awarded for their long-standing loyalty to IDET.

This year's edition is marked by the number 30 – that is the number of years the Army of the Czech Republic celebrates and the history of the IDET fair is equally long. At the social evening and at the end of the awards ceremony, Michalis Busios, director of the security fairs, reminded us of that. "The first edition was launched on 5 June 1993 and in its catalogue the then CEO had the sentence: 'I believe that with this first edition we will establish a good tradition of organising this type of exhibition. The next 30 years have shown that the tradition is really good and this 17th edition, which is of a record-breaking size in its history, is full proof of that. We would like to acknowledge all the companies and institutions that were present here 30 years ago and are with us again this year."

With these words, Michalis Busios invited representatives of these 19 exhibiting companies and institutions to the stage. They were joined by a representative of the Ondráš Military Artistic Ensemble, which has been part of the fair since the first season. The matadors of the 30-year history of the IDET fair are the following companies and institutions: the Association of Defence and Security Industry of the Czech Republic, B.O.I.S. - FILTRY, Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, Army of the Czech Republic, Česká zbrojovka, EVPÚ Defence, Meopta Optika, MÖNCH PUBLISHING GROUP, MPI Group, MS Line, OMNIPOL, ORITEST, Sellier & Bellot, VOP CZ, ZEVETA AMMUNITION, Aero Vodochody, MESIT, Tatra and STV Group and Poličské strojírny.
