Endodontics in 3D

Introduction of rotary instruments and endodontic motors into practices of general dentists meant big improvement in simplifying, fastening and bringing more quality in routine root canal treatment. Nowadays, when dentist are more focused to respect anatomy of root canal system, minimally invasive treatment and long term good clinical prognosis, there is coming a new concept of endodontic instrumentation fully able to respect root canal anatomy and anatomical irregularities, which we can´t mechanically treat with rotary instruments. Continual irrigation while working in the canal  makes this system unique among available endodontic systems on the market. Will this new concept of self adjusting file became successor of present endodontis instruments? Only future will answer this question, but it is clear for now, that we are able to elimninate major drawbacks of rotary instruments by using SAF.
