International Fashion Footwear and Leatherwear Fairs

This fair duo is the only place where supply and demand of the fashion industry from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other Central and Eastern European countries come together. It offers exhibitors a unique opportunity to present their new collections in the attractive and exclusive environment of modern halls of the Brno Exhibition Center. These fashion and leatherwear fairs, which take place twice a year in February and August, strictly keep preserve their B2B character and are the meeting place for professionals and traders from the textile, clothing, shoe and leather wear industries.

 

SALIMA/EMBAX PRINT – February 27 – March 2, 2018

International Food Fair SALIMA is organized concurrently with the International Trade Fair for Packaging and Printing EMBAX PRINT
EmbaxPrint showed the latest trends, new technologies, machinery, equipment in the packaging and printing industry, the Packaging Live project is an important part of it, presenting a model packaging line equipped with the latest technologies in live operation. EmbaxPrint is an ideal way to accelerate the market and a space for competitive benchmarking, it offers a meeting point for experts and representatives of prominent Czech and foreign packaging and printing companies. It is held in a on a biennial basis, always in even years, and is only intended for B2B visitors. 

 

AMPER - International Trade Fair of Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Communication, Lighting and Security Technologies - 20-23 March, 2018

The AMPER Trade Fair (organized by Terinvest Prag) is the professional event in the Central Europe, which is annually held in modern exhibition halls of Brno Exhibition Centre. 600 exhibitors from 22 countries presented their innovative products and solutions in the branch of electrics and electro technics at the last AMPER in 2017. This makes this electro focused show No.1 in Central and Eastern Europe. The same number of companies booked their exhibition space for the 2018 edition of this fair. Electro mobility will be one of the topics discussed within the supporting expert programme of the fair.

 

TECHAGRO/ SILVA REGINA/ BIOMASA – 8-12 April, 2018

TECHAGRO – the biggest agricultural fair in Central Europe

In the spring 2018 the Brno exhibition centre will host the International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO held concurrently with the forestry and hunting fair SILVA REGINA and fair focusing on renewable energies in agriculture and forestry BIOMASS. Once again in 2018, TECHAGRO has reaffirmed its position as one of the most important European trade fairs events in the agricultural sector. The 2018 season dedicates more space to plant growing, while animal breeding is focused on by the ANIMAL TECH fair, which takes place at the Brno Exhibition Centre in odd years.

The complex of agricultural and forestry fairs are held regularly on a two-year basis and confirmed its international prestige and high professional standard as it aroused exceptional interest of visitors from 50 countries; the turnout was over 110,000. 
Techagro will be also visited by several trade missions from abroad. The number of foreign exhibitors and presented brands increased, among which none of the world´s leading manufacturers of agricultural equipment was missing. The main topic as precision agriculture, tractors, agricultural machines and new technologies in agricultural production is presented by almost eight hundred exhibitors from 40 foreign countries covering almost 88 thousand s.qm. An extensive supporting programme focused on agricultural and forestry professionals completed the most prestigious presentation of agriculture. This year´s edition focuses on crop production and will host the general meeting of the Czech Agricultural Chamber.

IMT - International Trade Fair of Machine Tools and Forming Machines

FOND-EX - International Foundry Fair

WELDING - International Welding Technology Fair

PROFINTECH - International Trade Fair for Surface Treatment Technologies

PLASTEX - International Trade Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites.

 

The International Engineering Fair (MSV) is the leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe with annual participation reaching more than 1600 exhibitors and 80 000 visitors from  60 countries worldwide. Almost half of the exhibitors are from abroad. All of the key specialist sectors of the engineering industry are very well represented. The visitor profile is very strong, quite in line with the importance of the Fair. 79% of our visitors are decision makers and buying influencers, a third of them are in senior management roles. As one of the best known and well-publicised trade fairs in the country, it attracts over 400 accredited journalists. MSV is an established brand with a long tradition. We also ensure that both visitors and exhibitors benefit from an excellent range of workshops, seminars and conferences.

Already the 60th International Engineering Fair will turn attention to new trends in industrial production. Automation, Robotics, Digitization, Industry 4.0 brings intelligent communication of industrial equipment across the supply and production chains.

 

BVV Highlights 2019:

STAINLESS – 15-16 May, 2019

Stainless, International Stainless Steel Trade Fair, has been held at the Brno Exhibition Centre since 2009. It is a highly specialised show of stainless steel with strong international attendance both among exhibitors and visitors. With 80% international attendees of the total 150 this event is the most international in the Brno Exhibition Centre portfolio. Among visiting professionals of whom there are over a thousand this proportion is almost 40%. 

According to analyses, the European stainless steel market should increase annually by 4.5% in 2015. Regarding global trends, the consumption of stainless steel will grow especially in Asia in the coming years. China, which is already its largest consumer, should consume a half more by 2020, and growth by as much as 64% is expected in India during the same period. Also the expected growth in nickel prices is important news.

 

IDET- International Defence and Security Technologies Fair-May 29-31, 2019 

PYROS/ISET - May 29 – June 1, 2019

IDET, International Fair of Defence and Security Technology, is one of the biggest shows of defence technology in Central and Eastern Europe. It is a well-proven combination of three exhibition themes, which are closely connected. Many companies simultaneously supply several entities – the army, police and the firefighters. The fairs will contain exhibitions of the Czech Army, Police, Fire Brigade and a number of associations of volunteer firemen, as well as the Customs Administration, Prison Service and Administration of State Material Reserves. For the first time was presented the activities of a municipal police nearly 20 municipalities. In a situation where after years' hiatus the power ministries are implementing and preparing significant acquisitions, it is an ideal opportunity for all suppliers to showcase innovations and their entire range. Companies can also use also the field polygon - IDET Arena to showcase their products. The last edition in 2017 included 390 exhibiting companies from over 30 countries and the fairs were visited by more than 32 000 visitors from 48 countries.
